The work, which becomes a new genere itself, will be called....
Cowboy Bebop

The show with the funny name, that is how some people remember Cowboy Bebop. Some people don't even bother watching it because they think the name sounds stupid. Don't let the name fool you, this is one of the greatest anime shows of all time, and my personal favorite.

So what is a show called Cowboy Bebop about. Basicly it is about bounty hunters in the future. It is much more complicated than this though. This show is filled with lessons and mesages. Every single episode has a lesson to be learned and the whole series has that ties all of the episodes together. The characters are great, they aren't just tossed into the show to fill space. They all have stories to tell.

The crew of the Bebop:
Spike Spiegel, he used to be in a crime syndicate called the Red Dragons. He decided that it wasn't the life for him and he was going to get out. Now he roams the galaxy with his friend Jet in search of bounty heads. Jet Black, he used to work for the ISSP (Inter Solar Systems Police) but is now self employed as a bounty hunter. Jet is sometimes knowen as Black Dog because once he gets his teeth in you, he doesn't let go. Faye Valentine, She sometimes helps the crew of the Bebop pull in bounty heads. She stays on the Bebop because it is the closest thing she has to a home. Faye was frozen after being in an accident. She was brought back to life in the future. She has now memories of who she is, where she came from, or even how old she is. She struggles to find a place to fit in. The only thing that seems to make her happy is gambling all of her money away. Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky, or just Ed for short. Ed is a computer hacker from Earth. She used to live all alone since her father abandoned her, but now she is a member of the Bebop. Ed can hack into anything and she uses her abilities to help get information that is needed on bounties. Ed is an extremly weird child, at first no body even knew if she was a girl or a boy.

The combination of music, characters, stories, messages, and animations make this show a beautiful work of art.

The syndicate has developed a new drug that induces a beserker rage. A member of the syndicate took off, taking with him all of the drug known as red eye. There is a bounty put out on him because he is dealing the drug, but at the same time the syndicate is after him because they want it back. Spike and Jett have to try their hardest to get him before the syndicate does, or no reward for them.
This is a good episode because it introduces the two main characters, Spike and Jett. The use of music in this episode was very original, the same goes for the rest of the series. I have never seen any other show try to pull off jazz for fight scenes, it fit very well and I'm glad they ventured to go where no other show was willing to go with music. The fight scenes were very fluid and stylish. The story wasn't lacking either, it was one of the darker episodes and it established the show as a drama.

In this episode Jet and Spike are on the trail of an abducted lab animal. The animal, a regular, ordinary dog, or is it. As it turns out this dog is the product of some unusual research and there are quite a bit of people who would like to get their hands on it. They only have one problem, they aren't sure what the bounty head looks like because he alters his apperance regularly through plastic surgery. This episode wasn't up to Bebop standards. It has the action that Cowboy Bebop fans expect to see and it has a few funny twists and turns in the story but overall the story could have used some work, they could have found a better way to introduce Ein to the story. And the music wasn't anything to get excited about either.

This episode is the first we see of Faye. We learn alot about her in this episode, we learn that she is always in trouble, that she is a good con artist, and she does what she wants when she wants. Faye is trying to obtain a special computer chip that is the key to a decription program. However Spike comes into posession of the chip and Faye's employer is after them. Jett knows what the chip is and exactly what its worth so they strike up a deal. When negotiations go wrong Faye jumps in, grabs the money and takes off. The story was good, it was just another reminder that there's no such thing as easy money. There wasn't a lot of action but the action scenes were great. The show started with a good shoot out, then Spike got in a good fight which showed off some more of his stylish moves, and the show was capped off with an excelent shoot out in space with plenty of missles. The music was good but quiet a ways from great, once again the actions scenes were finished off with some stylish jazz tunes.
